Privacy policy

Grand Repair Auto Ltd (11 Clovelly Court, 8 Wintergreen Boulevard, West Drayton, UB7 9GU) (“we”, “us”) is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. If you have any questions, contact us on info@grandrepairauto.co.uk.

What we collect

When you request a booking we collect your name, phone number, vehicle registration, postcode, preferred date and time, where the car is, and any description of the problem you give us. If you call us, we may note your number and details of the job.

Why we use it

• To contact you about your booking, give you a quote and carry out the work (to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and to perform that contract).
• To keep business and accounting records (legal obligation).

We do not sell your data or use it for marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

Only the providers we need to run the business, such as our website host and email provider, and — for MOTs — the approved test centre. They process data on our behalf and must keep it secure.

How long we keep it

Booking requests that don’t go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Records of completed work are kept for up to 6 years for accounting and warranty purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies. If you click “Accept” on the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics (provided by Google Ireland Ltd) to understand how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) that last up to 2 years. If you click “Reject”, no analytics cookies are set. We store your choice in your browser. You can change it at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Contact us on info@grandrepairauto.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
