Common questions
What’s the legal tyre tread limit in the UK?
1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tread, around the whole tyre. We recommend replacing at 3mm for safe braking in the wet.
Can every puncture be repaired?
Punctures in the central tread area can usually be repaired to British Standard. Damage to the sidewall or shoulder means the tyre must be replaced.
